Software Update Guide
Before You Begin

Make sure the update file is saved on a USB drive
-
The software file must end with .apk (e.g., NanoEX-5(3).5.4.apk)

Ensure stable power throughout the update process
Software Update Steps

Power on your NanoEX device.
-
Tap Start on the main screen.
-
Select Settings to access the settings menu.
-
Insert the USB drive containing the new software file into the device.
-
Choose Software Update from the menu.
-
Locate and select the file named NanoEX-5(3).5.4.apk from the USB drive.
-
When prompted, confirm the update by selecting Yes.
-
After the update is complete, the system will return to the start screen, where the new software version information will be displayed.
Important Notes
-
Do not power off the device or remove the USB drive during the update process.
-
Interrupting the update may cause software failure or system instability.
Protocol Profile Update Guide
Before You Begin

Ensure the protocol profile file is available on a USB drive
-
Example file name: V2.6.1.vf
Software Update Steps

Power on your NanoEX device.
-
Tap Start on the main screen.

Select Settings to enter the settings menu.

Choose Protocol Profile from the menu options.
-
Insert the USB drive containing the new protocol profile file.
-
Tap the Import button and select V2.6.1.vf from the USB drive.

Once the import is complete, the new protocol profile version will be displayed on the screen.
Important Notes
-
Do not power off the device or remove the USB drive during the update process.

Interrupting the update may cause software failure or system instability.
Troubleshooting Tip
-
If the system does not recognize the USB drive, please disconnect and reconnect the USB drive, then try again.

Development Note
New Features

Added support for new cassettes (EXO-10/20/40/60). Previous versions only supported EXO-01/03.

Added PDF Run Report export functionality. Users can now export a report after each experiment.

Users can input sample name and sample volume, enabling an estimated processing time display.

Collect function is now always accessible, regardless of process completion, allowing users to recover retained samples in the cassette if issues occur.
UI Changes

The setup/Collect UI has undergone major changes to ensure compatibility with the new cassettes (EXO-10/20/40/60). Setup pages now function as checklists for user verification rather than step-by-step guides
